Available payment methods
At Cubica, you can pay securely and easily with the main payment methods in Colombia. All payments are processed through a provider certified with PCI DSS Level 1 security standards and anti-fraud technology. Below, we explain each option in detail.
1) Debit and credit cards
We accept major international and local credit cards (e.g., Visa, MasterCard, and American Express). You can pay in a single installment or in installments, depending on your financial institution's options.
- Approval: usually immediate.
- Security: Additional authentication and validations to protect your purchase.
- Refunds: are made to the same payment method when a reversal applies.
2) Bank transfer via PSE (ACH)
If you prefer to pay directly from your savings or checking account, use PSE. You'll be redirected to your bank's secure portal to authorize the transaction.
- Availability: Works with most banks in the country.
- Accreditation: usually immediate; in specific cases, it may take longer.
- Refunds: These are processed as a refund to a registered bank account.
3) Digital wallets
You can also pay with the most popular wallets in Colombia:
- Nequi: Pay from your cell phone with your available balance.
- Daviplata: Make the payment with your number and authorize it in the app.
Note: If a wallet is experiencing maintenance or is temporarily unavailable, you can choose another method at checkout.
4) Cash payments at allied points
Generate a payment receipt and pay through partner collection networks nationwide (e.g., Efecty, Gana, Puntored, or Su Red). Your order is confirmed when the point reports the payment.
- Receipt validity: indicated when it is generated; after this period, a new one must be issued.
- Confirmation: This may take a few minutes after payment at the point.
- Refunds: Refunds are made by bank transfer to the order holder's bank account.
Receipts and billing
- Upon completing your purchase, you will receive an email with an order summary and reference number.
- Keep this email address; we'll use it for any questions, exchanges, or returns.
Refunds and payment reversals
When refunds are due, we will follow these rules:
- Card payments: Reversals are requested using the same payment method and may appear in your bank within 5 to 15 business days, depending on the institution.
- PSE and cash: Refunds will be made by transfer to your registered bank account. We will request your details for credit.
Crediting times may vary by financial institution and holidays.
Security and fraud prevention
- All payments are encrypted and validated with anti-fraud systems.
- For unusual purchases, we may ask for additional verification to protect you.
